Deposits and My waiting list for a puppy:
I have two waiting lists for puppies:
1.One is a general list, where I contact the family on that list only if there is an available puppy once the puppies are born. Only one out of every seven families on my general waiting list might get a puppy.
2. Then I have a deposit list where families put down a $350 to reserve a puppy. The deposit is included in the price of the puppy , for example if your puppy cost $1600 and you put down a deposit of $350, the balance is $1250 to be paid on the day you picked your puppy or on the day you get your puppy, it is your choice.
Why put down a deposit?
With my recent litters of puppies I realized that families on my general list does not have a good chance to get a puppy. I had a number of very disappointed families on my general waiting lists that really wanted a puppy , but none became available.
I recommend you put down a deposit as your deposit will reserve your spot in line.
Your deposit ensures the reservation of a puppy. Your position is determined by the date and time of deposit.
Your deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of your puppy.
When do I put down a deposit?
I usually put a note on my website that I am now accepting deposits for the next litter.
How does the puppy deposit list work:
The 1st depositor gets first pick, the 2nd depositor gets the second pick and so on. I will inform you of the birth of the litter within one week AFTER they are born. You can choose your puppy once the pups reach 3 weeks of age. I reserve the right to first pick of every litter.
What if no puppies are available in my chosen litter or I do not like one of the puppies in that litter ?
If the litter does not arrive on the date you preferred or there are not enough puppies in your chosen litter, or one does not meet your criteria, then your deposit will TRANSFER to our next available litter. DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. We enjoy to be part of the process of bringing a puppy that you would love into your life.
What if I want my deposit back ?
Deposits are non-refundable. Transferring your deposit to a future litter is allowed but not guaranteed. However if your circumstances change drastically due to unforeseen circumstances, personal issues, health reasons etc, that you can proof a partial refund will be considered. There will be no refund if a family decide they do not want a puppy anymore, or if they already picked a puppy and then change their mind, or if they decide to buy a puppy from another breeder.
While I cannot guarantee I will have the specific gender, color, or coat type of your choice from your desired litter, or that your puppy will arrive on a specific time. I will try to help you get a puppy that you will be happy with and that you will be delighted to take home!
By placing your deposit for a puppy from Bright Star Puppies, you agree to the terms above.
